Learn solid fundamentals by having a great grip ( it is your only connection to the club ), a great set up ( posture, alignment, ball position ), a one piece takeaway, the proper footwork, and a well balanced finish.
Get a solid pre-shot routine and stick with it! It is the trigger that lets you relax and make a flowing swing off the ball. When pressure mounts on the golf course this pre-shot routine is what makes you do everything normal and helps you focus on the shot in front of you.

Make a plan for the shot you are going to hit with a perfect picture in your head of the flight! Keep your swing thoughts simple. No more than one easy thought or preferably no swing thought. Keep it very, very simple
